The basic ShuttleIT configuration allows transferring files and directories between networks, as long as all files and directories are located under one major directory in each network.

This limit forced customers to purchase separate ShuttleIT systems for each transfer path in order to transfer files from different servers in the network.

The new ShuttleIT expansion package supports transfers from a large number of directories (multi directories). This option allows a single ShuttleIT system to transfer files from an unlimited numbers of drives and directories from one network to a similarly unlimited number of drives and directories in another network. The new multi-directories application enables to set path tables in each end of ShuttleIT, where the transfer paths are set.
